Just WOW, such a surprise to see this magical carving, great quality raw black obsidian is not common to find, often it has little depth or light balance, this piece is yummy in its energetic pull.
The Raven represents wisdom, the bringer of messages, watch and feel into life as it offers you the path to feel into that best represents the changes that you desire. Some say it is the forbear of death and a bad omen, to them and their culture it may have been true. However, more so in mythos it is seen as a powerful ally to watch and hold onto as it shows the pathways in life we may need to follow. Raven is majestic, strong and a powerful healer. It sits upon the skull, for me it is s soothsayer, a seer of life empowering us to go within to express what it is we want to the world to see, or, in fact to change our world as we see fit. As the skull represents ancient wisdom and knowledge, a connection to our ancestors whos blood flows through our very veins. Together they are grand protectors and wisdom keepers, placed perhaps on the alter to honour ourselves, invoke majik and feel the flow of wisdom offered to us from spirit.
