Ankh .. One of the most famous Egyptian Symbols. It is a sign for life and it is believed to extend life and good health. Noone really knows the exact origin of the symbol but it was and is associated with concept of life itself. With that there is strong connection with life sustaining waters, air, food, life force and fertility. One of the most known ritual with Ankh was blessing of the water by pouring it through the loop of an Ankh which you can do it to this day as well.
Fertility was also linked to the Ankh through it shape which represented the sexual union of the pubic triangle as the loop and the penis as the line below uniting with it.
But before you would use it, the first step it is to bless it yourself. How to do that is to set the altar representing 4 elements and then connect your Ankh with each of them separately and bless it with energies of love, protection, abundance, fertitlity … anything you are wanting to bring into your life.
